We LOVE local! If you are a local maker and would like to show us your creations, please email us at the link below and tell us:

- Who you are and a little bit about you

- What you make / What makes your product a good fit for The Merc

- Photos of your item(s)

- Include your contact information.

Keep in mind, not everything we are shown will be a good fit to sell at the shop - that doesn’t mean it isn’t a fantastic item. We are a small business, and we have gotten a feel for what will sell and what will not, not to mention we are tight on space. We realize Creating is a subjective process and we appreciate your willingness to share with us. We will respond to your email. If you don’t hear back from us, please do not take it personally - it could be that the email didn’t go through or we are really swamped, so please just resubmit your request. We look forward to seeing your product and we THANK you for your interest!

Refund Policy

** All Sales Final **

We are a small business. Our shop has a “You or Yours Damage or Break it, You Just Bought It” Policy.

If you purchase something and it is a manufacturer defect unbeknownst to us when we sold it, we will look case by case basis and when appropriate, issue an exchange or store credit only.

If you want to take something home “On Approval” to see if it fits or if the color works in your home, we can do that. Please speak to us about how that is done.

We love being a part of our community &

love to support it in any way we can.

We are a brand new small business and understandably, have our financial limits. The more successful we are, the more we can financially support our community.

We also offer classes & workshops as community outreach - for example, our free Saturday Garden Prep Talks with knowlegable Master Gardeners, Master Naturalists & that we hosted this spring to get people motivated and provide free education about gardening.

When we give a donation to an organization, it is with the understanding that the organization will promote our business and encourage their patrons to frequent The Mercantile - do your gift shopping, Christmas shopping, Home decor shopping, gardening shopping, cocktail & jewelry shopping here at The Merc.

Another way we are able to support organizations in our community is through a Sip & Shop. You get all your friends/family/supporters together, come shop at The Merc on a certain day and timeframe, have a Beverage and shop! A portion of the sales will go straight to your organization! Contact us, we would be happy to set something up.
